TripAdvisor’s 2018 Travellers’ Choice Hill Station Hotels in India

TripAdvisor recently revealed its 2018 Travellers’ Choice awards for India’s top Hill Station Hotels and Speciality Lodgings to help vacationers choose a great hill station property to escape the heat this season.
“Indian travellers are value conscious and want the best experience for their money, be it a luxury or a budget holiday that they are taking. This year’s list of award-winning hotels and speciality lodgings brings to the fore best mountain accommodations from across the country that have received great reviews from the TripAdvisor community,” Nikhil Ganju, Country Manager, TripAdvisor India, said
“It is interesting to note that while in the Hotels category, accommodations from southern India have bagged more wins this year vs 2016, in Speciality Lodgings category the number of wins has gone down from seven in 2016 to five this year. However, overall these are excellent options for those who want to head to the hills - whether they are after a small hotel, a bed and breakfast or want to splurge on a luxurious stay” he added.
This year, Tamil Nadu beats Himachal Pradesh to dominate the list with five winning properties followed by Himachal Pradesh with four wins. Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh debut in the list with four and two wins respectively.
