Turkish Airlines deploys Boeing 777-300ER on Mumbai route

As part of its expansion in India and meeting the growing passenger base, Turkish Airlines announces to deploy B777-300ER on its Mumbai-Istanbul-Mumbai route from 1 July, 2013. This aircraft will be deployed on flights from Mumbai to Istanbul for the initial period of three months and is subject to continuation.  

The B777-300ER has 38 Business class seats and 274 Economy class seats and is the biggest aircraft in the Turkish Airlines fleet. With a total of 312 seats, the new aircraft will have more capacity for passengers as well as for cargo. This aircraft offers full flat beds in business class with all seats in both cabins fitted with individual TVs with inflight entertainment system.

In addition, Turkish Airlines has been chosen "Best Airline in Europe", “Best Airline in Southern Europe” and awarded "Best Business Class Catering” in 2013 Skytrax World Airline Awards for the third time in a row.
