VIA RAIL CANADA RECORDS 117% GROWTH FROM INDIA IN OCT'15

Via Rail Canada recorded a growth of 117 per cent in Agency sales from India for October 2015 compared to the same month in 2014.
Ashish Saran, Account Head, Via Rail, says, “The increase of 117 percent in the month of October shows phenomenal growth in Agency Sales compared to the previous year. The grandeur which is experienced while being on the train is something truly amazing. Considering Indians who are more disposed towards accommodation and expense, this positive number reconfirms that VIA Rail is a premium train offering comfort and economy at the same time. We are attempting to connect with more consumers. This is a positive sign and we would hope to see similar growth in 2016.”
