VISIT CALIFORNIA TAKES OUTREACH PROGRAMME TO THE SOUTH

Visit California continued its outreach program in Southern India as part of the Brand USA ‘DiscoverAmerica’ Educational Seminars held in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The educational seminars in three Southern cities witnessed the participation of over 280 travel agents. The seminars held across three cities were aimed at providing an interactive platform for the travel agents to find information on the Golden State.
In 2013, 240,000 Indians visited California accounting for 28 per cent market share of the total Indian visitors to the US. The Indian visitor arrivals are forecasted to grow further with 339,000 projected arrivals by 2017.
