The revamped hotel joins The Isle by Wonderla, the recently launched boutique retreat amidst water, as the second distinct hospitality offering within Wonderla’s Bengaluru campus.
Wonderla Holidays Ltd. announced the launch of Terrea by Wonderla, an earth-inspired urban resort located adjacent to the Wonderla Bengaluru amusement park. The property marks a full-scale strategic transformation of the erstwhile Wonderla Resort.
The former resort operated as a convenience-led, functional accommodation primarily serving amusement park visitors. The revamp, executed over close to eight months and backed by an investment of approximately INR 18 crore, positions Terrea as a premium upscale urban resort serving Bengaluru’s growing appetite for high-quality, accessible staycation experiences.
The revamped hotel features 84 redesigned keys across three room themes - Botanic Chic, Urban Pop, and Coastal Modern; an all-day multi-cuisine; Bar by The Pool, a poolside bar; versatile banquets and event infrastructure designed for weddings, corporate offsites, MICE, and social celebrations. The concept and design of the property is executed by design agency Muse n Aura Designs.
Speaking on the launch, Arun K. Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman & Managing Director, Wonderla Holidays Ltd., said, “Wonderla has always been about creating joy, and over 25 years, our parks in Bengaluru, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar and Chennai have delivered that to over 46 million guests. What we have been building over the last few years is the next layer: a hospitality ecosystem that extends that joy well beyond the park gates. The Isle by Wonderla was our first step in that direction, Terrea is the natural complement to that vision. While The Isle offers stillness and seclusion, Terrea brings energy, design, and urban accessibility. Together, they give guests the full spectrum, arrive for the park, stay for the resort, return for the experience.”
“The Terrea revamp was executed with a clear objective: maximise experiential impact while preserving the core infrastructure. By retaining the existing floor plans, MEP systems, and room inventory, we concentrated the entire INR 18 crore investment on guest-facing transformation - rooms, restaurant, reception, F&B infrastructure, and outdoor leisure zones,” added Dheeran Choudhary, Chief Operating Officer at Wonderla Holidays Ltd.,
