Saudi Tourism Authority & TBO Academy host exclusive destination presentation in Lucknow

The presentation showcased Saudi’s Golden Triangle including Riyadh, Jeddah, and AlUla, as key destinations for Indian travellers. Beyond the Golden Triangle, travel professionals were introduced to Saudi’s emerging gems such as Taif, Aseer, and Al-Baha. The event took place at The Taj Mahal, Lucknow. 

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), in partnership with TBO Academy, hosted an engaging and insightful destination presentation at The Taj Mahal, Lucknow, exclusively curated for travel partnersThis premier event highlighted Saudi’s expanding portfolio of unique experiences for Indian travellers and marked another important B2B networking event in the growing TBO Academy portfolio. It also reaffirmed Saudi’s growing popularity among Indian travellers and strengthened ties with India’s travel trade community.

The presentation showcased Saudi’s Golden Triangle including Riyadh, Jeddah, and AlUla, as key destinations for Indian travellers. While Riyadh shone as the vibrant centre for business and entertainment, Jeddah is undoubtedly the historic coastal getaway. AlUla, on the other hand, is the cultural centre with UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Hegra and natural landmarks such as Elephant Rock.

Beyond the Golden Triangle, travel professionals were introduced to Saudi’s emerging gems such as Taif, Aseer, and Al-Baha, known for their pleasant climates, natural beauty, and cultural richness. The presentation also highlighted Red Sea Global, the ultra-luxury destination development - now open for travellers.

Connectivity has always been at the centre of travel between India and Saudi with over 320 weekly flights from India, operated by carriers such as IndiGo, Saudia, Flynas, Air India, SpiceJet and Akasa Air. Attendees were briefed on Saudi’s simplified visa options, including the Tourist Visa, eVisa, Visa on Arrival and Stopover Visa.

Saudi’s signature experiences like Riyadh Season, MDL Beast music festival, and AlUla’s heritage attractions were also discussed to highlight what makes Saudi an exciting year-round destination.

Notably, TBO Academy introduced its learning platform, where trade partners can find specialised courses, curated itineraries, promotional offers, including free TeamLab Borderless tickets, and the Elite 20 incentive program designed to reward top-performing agents.
