With effect from October 1, 2025, during the first 15 minutes of the opening of general reservation, reserved general tickets can be booked through the website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)/its app only by Aadhaar-authenticated users.

Rajasthan govt. has transferred 440.06 hectares of land to AAI for development of a Greenfield Airport, suitable for operation of A-321 type aircraft. The project includes construction of a Terminal Building capable of handling 1000 Peak Hour Passengers (PHP) with annual capacity of 2 million passengers.

As per the ministry data, the economic impact of tourism has been notable too, with Foreign Exchange Earnings (FEEs) rising from INR 1,69,917 crore in 2022 to INR 2,93,033 crore in 2024.
